The experience of MGA is very exciting and has many
different roles. The responsibilities and duties of many are what MGA a
successful experience. Interviewing students from different schools with
different jobs gives a clear outlook. Creating a fair and unbiased story
represents MGA, the unforgettable memories, and the life lessons learned
throughout the remarkable journey. The students come from all over Virginia
bringing different beliefs, different stories, and different ways of life. MGA
is a one of a kind event where students can join together and find common
ground through the Virginia legislation.
Favorite parts of MGA can be very diverse because of the
many opportunities and jobs. William French (Fuqua School) “My favorite part of
MGA is being able to hear different opinions in an arena where we can make a
difference”. Kevin Dunn (Fuqua School) “The best part of MGA has been debating
topics with other schools.” Tyler Thomas (Fuqua School) “My favorite experience
during MGA has been spending time with my friends.” The common favorites were
spending time with friends and learning about Virginia’s legislative system.
Morgan Hall (Lunenburg Central) “My favorite part of MGA was being involved in
committees and seeing how the process works.”
Morgan Moore (Brunswick Academy) “I loved having the opportunity to
voice my opinion for others.” MGA is an overwhelming and memorable event, which
makes picking one favorite part hard.
